A note from the founder
I'm Joshua, and I've spent my whole life doing math most diners never think about.
Living with severe food allergies means every restaurant meal starts with an interrogation. What's in the sauce? Is the fryer shared? Did the kitchen actually check, or did the server just say yes? You learn to order the plainest thing on the menu instead of the thing you want. You learn which dinners to quietly skip. And you learn that one wrong answer isn't an upset stomach. It's an ambulance.
SafetyZone started as an app for people like me, a way to find places we could actually eat. Then something unexpected happened. Restaurant owners started asking for the other half. They didn't want to guess at allergy questions any more than we wanted to ask them. They wanted a way to answer "can I eat this?" before a guest ever has to raise a hand.
That's what this product is. Scan the QR code on the table, tap what you can't eat, and the menu shows only what's safe, with kitchen-verified badges, honest cross-contamination warnings, and a standing reminder that your staff always get the final word.
